Encourage stones and all skill stones which have been set in the inventory of Path of exile currency the character will continue to grow as more animals are killed. As a result of this it's likely to raise their degrees even without the need to directly use abilities - they want is to be available.
The number of relations, their colour and sockets can be changed using several items, namely:
Jeweller's Orb - lets you re-draw the amount of sockets within an object, increasing or reducing it. You won't be able to use that item if the amount of slots would be the maximum for any particular item. Chromatic Orb - allows you to modify the colors of of the sockets in the item. Orb of Fusing - allows you to re-draw connections involving sockets, eliminating them or adding new ones. Vaal Orb - a product that allows a product to be modified by you and apply the Corrupted parameter.
It's worth recalling that it makes no sense to waste the above items on modifying gear. A much better idea is simply to find another, even worse regarding parameters, thing that is going to have the sockets we need, and leave the items to be modified for afterwards, to alter in buy POE orbs better gear.
