ARC Raiders 2.3.0 reshapes Emperor and Frigate runs, broadens blueprint drops, buffs key gear, removes the Expedition Vault, and adds a free anniversary reward.

The Flame Spray in Arc Raiders deals 13 damage per second in Update 2.3.0, up from 10, and loses durability at half its previous rate. Its fire no longer passes through walls. The ARC Raiders Items listing is separate from the in-game loot system.

What the Flame Spray changes mean

The damage increase makes sustained fire more rewarding, while the durability change lets the weapon retain its condition longer under comparable use. These are two separate improvements: the damage increase does not itself restore durability, and the durability reduction does not increase the stated damage rate.

The wall fix changes positioning. A target behind a wall is no longer exposed to Flame Spray fire through that wall, so move into an open line of attack rather than spending durability against cover. The supplied update details do not specify a new range, upgrade cost, or crafting requirement.

Build a safer raid around the weapon

The Heavy Shield received a base charge increase from 80 to 90 in the same update. Its extra charge can support a deeper raid, but it does not change the Flame Spray's stated damage or let fire pass through cover.

The Firefly Burner also changed: it activates on impact, leaves a trail of fire while traveling, and explodes after about three seconds. It no longer needs to be shot to vent. Treat it as a separate tool rather than assuming it inherits the Flame Spray's damage or durability changes.

Adrenaline Shot can now be used at maximum stamina, but its effect no longer stacks. A second shot refreshes the duration instead, so avoid using another one expecting a larger combined effect.

Adjust the loot route

Emperor entrance containers now give lower-tier rewards, with higher-tier loot placed deeper inside. Bring healing and shield charge if committing to the deeper rooms, and consider the longer route back to extraction before pushing past the entrance.

The Frigate also favors deeper areas, where higher-tier rewards have a better chance to appear. Visual hatches and audio cues indicate puzzle progress, while nearby pings now mark exact locations. Use those cues to coordinate a hatch or vent rather than treating a ping as a marker for the whole ship.

Six weapon blueprints can now drop in any major map condition: Dolabra, Bobcat, Equalizer, Jupiter, Tempest, and Vulcano. Their pool's drop chance was reduced slightly, so wider availability does not guarantee a faster drop. The update details do not list a Flame Spray blueprint change.

Check the stash before deploying

The Expedition Vault was disabled, and its contents move to the regular stash. Players who bought Vault slots receive Bronze Statuettes as compensation. Check the stash after logging in and clear low-value materials if the transferred items leave it crowded.

Before the next raid, check the Flame Spray's condition, pack healing for a deeper loot route, and review any planned spending on ARC Raiders Coins separately from the weapon's update changes.

ARC Raiders Update 2.3.0 puts better loot deeper inside the Emperor and Frigate, while six weapon blueprints can now drop in any major map condition.
