The future of ARC Raiders continues to evolve, and it looks like another major progression overhaul could arrive much sooner than players expected. Following several updates to expeditions, progression systems, and seasonal rewards, Embark Studios has now teased additional changes that may dramatically reshape how players approach future expeditions. Ample ARC Raiders Coins can also provide significant assistance.

Although official details remain limited, recent developer comments strongly suggest that Expedition 4 could introduce one of the biggest progression shifts since launch.

The Evolution of Expeditions So Far

Since release, expeditions in ARC Raiders have constantly changed in an attempt to find the right balance between challenge, rewards, and player engagement.

Each expedition has featured different completion requirements:

Expedition 1 required players to accumulate 5 million coins and stash value combined to earn all five skill points.

Expedition 2 lowered that requirement to 3 million after developers realized the original target was too demanding for many players.

Expedition 3 completely shifted direction by focusing on combat performance instead, requiring players to deal 100,000 total damage.

The third expedition also introduced a more forgiving reward structure. Players could earn four of the five available skill points after reaching only 50,000 damage, meaning most of the rewards came long before fully completing the challenge.

That change alone showed Embark was already experimenting with ways to make expeditions feel less punishing.

Now, it appears even larger adjustments may be on the horizon.
