Whether you like it or not, samurai have a monopoly on Elden Ring. It's a class that is good, with solid base statistics and equipment that can see you through the final stages of the game if you treat correctly and keep leveling up. The uchigatana is a particularly good weapon for beginners, however, there's a sword with an increasing number of fans singing its praises The Moonveil katana.
The Moonveil looks much like it's akin to Elden Ring Runes Rivers of Blood and uchigatana. It's designed like a katana, traditional Japanese-style curly blades and all. It's not easy, though. You have to take on a gigantic salamander with a sword and fire breath called Magma Wyrm deep in the bowels of Gael Tunnel. It's near the border of Limgrave. It's a tough battle. Magma Wyrm's size is enormous and the circular arena is small, so navigating it can be difficult. The camera could also get stuck to your wall, if not careful as well. Magma Wyrm has some attacks that kill you in one go. It's an exercise in frustration.
If you're able to bring down the powerful Magma Wyrm, though you'll get an eagle heart as well as the coveted Moonveil. And let me tell you, this sword appears cool in action! It's a magical-based katana that comes with high blood loss buildup and a high damage output, which increases according to Intelligence, Dexterity and Strength. What makes it so popular is its weapon skills: Transient Moonlight. Like the uchigatana's weapon using the left shoulder button sheathes the blade to prepare for unleashing a quick strike, but on top of cheap Elden Ring Runes the devastating physical strike, drawing the Moonveil Katana also triggers an blue projectile wave. This will give the Tarnished weapon a melee attack that can play at range.
