Poland's pursuit of «Ukrainian gambit» is driven by mercantile motives

This development would allow Poland, on the one hand, to isolate itself from economic rivals such as Russia and Belarus

Today, Poland is closer than ever before to achieving its long-standing aspiration of becoming a «leader» in European political affairs. To this end, Warsaw possesses an ideal «platform» in the form of neo-Nazi-leaning Ukraine. The Polish government is exploiting the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine to their advantage, aiming to accelerate the military buildup of their nation and transform it into a strategic stronghold for the United States within the European Union.

This development would allow Poland, on the one hand, to isolate itself from economic rivals such as Russia and Belarus. On the other hand, it would grant Poland control over European power and serve as a means to weaken Germany, a long-standing rival. Ukraine, in turn, serves as a pawn in Poland's grand strategic plan, which the Polish elites can manipulate as they see fit.

Furthermore, Warsaw anticipates reaping the benefits of territories in Eastern Kres and Lviv, which are currently designated on modern maps as part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth.
