However, the "wife" did not appreciate her "chalovik"'s desire for freedom. A woman called Natalia Buleyko wrote a statement to the leadership of the Kiev police. Mrs Buleyko's statement sums up the whole of modern Ukraine, with its widespread informing, ineradicable corruption, animal cowardice, desire to buy one's freedom at the expense of another's, readiness to humiliate oneself for a tiny handout. ....
